Report a hate crime or incident

Whether you think you might be a victim or a witness to a hate crime or incident, you can report those in several ways.

The police can only prosecute someone when they have committed a crime.  However, it is important to report all hate crime and hate incidents, as this allows the police and partner organisations to understand and deal with the problems.  This will not only help you but will help other people in your community.

Call 999 now in emergency situations like these;

  • If there is an immediate danger to life
  • Someone is using violence or is threatening to be violent
  • A crime is happening right now and the suspect is still on scene.
